Print and Digital Campaign

Objective
Design and illustrate a custom campaign. Please choose one of the sports from the 2024 Paris Olympics as the focus of your campaign.

Timeline
The Unit 3 project will span several weeks.

Research
Wordlist, sketch, ideate
Plan the composition, both poster and Google ads (vertical and horizontal canvases, show example campaign)
Plan the color and focus (CMYK vs RGB)
Plan the object, icons, symbols, and figures (Representation and symbolism)
Illustrate (Adobe Illustrator pen and shape tools or iPad Pro Pen tool)
Color and re-color (Working with color in Adobe Illustrator)
Create final art: package for a printer, export for digital media placement (File formats and Sizes)

Reading Assignment

For this assignment, submit
Poster (11" x 17"), save as .pdf
Google Ad campaign (Use the template provided), save as .pdf
2-page editorial layout (Select Photoshop Mockup first, then size the page accordingly), export from InDesign as .pdf
Submit all as one PDF file, and merge files in Adobe AcrobatLinks to an external site.​​​​​​​
