The Team
Client: Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay Community Foundation
Creative Director: Tamara McLean, Icon Group Inc.
Hosting: SiteGround
Background
Established in 1995, the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay supports programs in the local community that meet its mission of empowering women and inspiring girls while promoting leadership and building self-esteem. The initial website, while cutting edge at the time, had become difficult and expensive to update. The organization needed a modern website that could be flexible for growing needs and easy for volunteers to update.
Solution
A WordPress website was designed with the help of several volunteers who wrote copy, proofed content, supplied photography, and created graphic elements. While the design and format served the organization well for many years, the WordPress backend development became outdated. This concept is no longer in use.

Outcome
A modern updated image for the Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay Community Foundation was launched in 2017. The new website captures the progressive message of the fund. The UX is simple and easy for volunteers to manage content resulting in dynamic current communications. It was a pleasure working with the Women's Fund committee as well as the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation team.
